If I do not like any of the listed tours, can you tailor-make a tour for me?

Yes, we can. You can send us an email at info@mykeralatour.in mentioning your requirements, budget, number of people (adults and children) travelling and places you want to visit. The other option is to fill out the form at Customize tour and click Submit.

How much do I have to pay at the time of booking?

At the time of booking, you will have to pay 40% of the total package price. The balance payment is to be made any time before the date of your travel or on your arrival at the airport/railway station before commencing your tour.

What are the payment options?

You have the following three payment options:

1. Deposit the money in our bank account mentioned below via direct cash deposit, NEFT transfer, cheque or wire transfer.

2. Pay online using credit cards through paypal. Paypal accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. If you are not a registered PayPal user, an account is free and easy to obtain. All transactions are on secure servers and your payment information is not shared with us. We only receive an email from PayPal stating that payment has been made. Your credit card information remains private at all times. For paypal payment, 10.85% service charge will be extra. For card payment in our office there is a 2.5% service charge applicable.
3. Post a CHEQUE / DEMAND DRAFT through courier or registered post to any of our office addresses mentioned below. The Cheque/demand draft should be drawn in favour of Southline Holidays. Please write your name, contact number, and package/service purchased at the back of the Cheque.

Please note that booking done via cheque payments will be confirmed only after the clearance of the payments. The clearing may take a transaction time of 5-10 days based on issuing bank location. Please mail us at info@mykeralatour.in the cheque or online reference no. after you deposit the amount in our bank.

What are the cancellation policies?

In case of cancellation of a booked tour, cancellation charges will be applicable as follows:-

  • More than 31 days from date of travel - 5% of the total package cost
  • Within 15-30 days - 10% of the total package cost
  • Within 8-14 days - 20% of the total package cost
  • Within 1-7 days - 30% of the total package cost
No cancellation shall apply on Domestic Air Fares, in case the tickets are booked by us.

Hotels and Houseboat details

  • Rooms in Munnar, Thekkady, Ooty and Kodaikanal is non AC, these are high altitude and cool climate places.
  • Economy package is the budget hotels, Deluxe is the 3 star hotels and Luxury is the 4 star hotels
  • Normal Check in time in hotels in 12 Noon and check out at 11AM.
  • AC in the houseboat will operated from 9PM to 6AM as normal system in the houseboat.
  • Houseboat will Idle from 5.30PM to 8.00AM, for villagers want to put there net for fishing as per govt. rule.
  • Houseboat check in 12 noon and checkout at next day 9AM.
  • Houseboat food menu is fixed, additional food and beverages have to pay extra.

Car Rental details

  • Rate includes fuel, toll, parking and driver bata / night halt charge.
  • Interstate permit charge with there toll and parking will be extra as applicable if going outside Kerala.
  • Kilometer will be calculated from Cochin office to Cochin office.
  • Per day Kilometers will be carry forwarded from an idle day to an active day
  • AC will shutoff in hill stations like Munnar, thekkady, Ooty and Kodaikanal
  • Drivers duty time normally 7AM to 7PM


Other details

  • Thekkady boating time is 7AM, 9.30AM, 11.30AM, 2PM. You have to reach minimum 1Hr. before boating point
  • Balance payment have to pay on arrival in Cash to our driver / representative.
  • Visiting of Vivekanda mandapam in Kanyakumari depends on weather condition.
  • Cancellation or modification possible in your tour if any unexpected strike / hadtal.

After you book a tour with us, we will assign you one of our executive, and will forward you his contact details. While on travel, he will be assisting you in the best possible way and will personally monitor your opted tour package, helping you enjoy your business or leisure trip. Do you include trip insurance?

We advise you to arrange travel insurance in your own country.

Do you assist in getting Visa with the ticket?

Yes, we can assist you in getting visa for travel in India. You may also get in touch with the nearest Indian Embassy/ Commission who will appraise you with the other formalities required. Kindly check the list on website http://www.highcommissionofindia.com.
